Julia joined Enzo's youth club for a debate at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Falmouth last Friday.

Enzo's is a club for young people aged 14-16yrs which meets on Friday evenings from 8.15-10 pm. Activities range from movie nights to camping or just chilling and enjoying getting to know each other while socialising in a safe environment.

This is overseen by Emmanuel's Youth Pastor, Nigel Bird with the help of the leadership team who are all aged 17 - 21. Julia was invited to a debate organised by the group on the subject of animal welfare, to give the young people tips on how to debate according to Westminster's rules!

Commenting on her visit Julia said;

"I spent a really enjoyable evening with the club's members, who picked up all the complicated rules of parliamentary debate very quickly. Although it was a fun evening, I was very impressed with the standard of debate and the quality of the points that the many contributors made.

"The leadership team have done a fantastic job to offer a wide range of activities to young people in Falmouth, and the whole club should be congratulated for the way these young people challenge the stereotypes of young people that we so often read about in the papers.
