Julia urges local people to keep new recycling centre busy

10.00.00am GMT Mon 7th Jan 2008

Commenting on the opening of the new Material Recycling Facility at Pool, Liberal Democrat MP Julia Goldsworthy said:

"Sending waste to landfill is bad for the environment and expensive for council tax payers. The new recycling facility at Pool can handle twice as much material as the old one - so now it's up to all of us to put more of our waste in the blue box and less into black bags.
