Commenting on the news that the Cornwall Heartlands project has today been awarded £22m in funding from the Big Lottery Living Landmark programme, Julia Goldsworthy MP said:

Julia welcomes Heartlands cash injection

"This is great news. This massive injection of resources will make one of the most important and visible entrances into the Camborne and Redruth area into an inspiring new landscape equipped with great facilities, rather than an eyesore you would rather avoid.

"This project will deliver fantastic new services and will re-energise and regenerate the local area, providing a strong platform for future development. I warmly congratulate the bid team on this fantastic outcome and I look forward to work getting started as soon as possible.
